Actually, I think that the Centurian drag would have been an excellent idea. Imagine the scene: Petraeus in his armor and cape walkes up to the podium to speak with a bloody short sword in one hand and the head of whoever the latest dead #2 al-quaeda guy is. He flings down the head and removes his helmet with the same hand, blood up to his elbow. Then he delivers his report. Hell.....I'd elect him!
