Behold the glory of my completed lego Drider:




The only thing I'm not happy with is that I wanted to have him bend and twist at the "waist", but there was no way to do that without having it look crappy. Ah well, I suppose there are limits even to my awesome skill. And humility, don't forget that part.

On the figure itself, I think I would go with using a flat 2x1 w/ the center stud to allow it the waist swivel for facing purposes. Just curious, where did you get the drider's sword from?
