How can I stop spending money on toys...

...when they keep making so many cool Lego sets? And why is it that a heathen German site has the first glimpse of the 2006 sets? Click on the word "Fundsache", if you don't believe me.

Legos

They just want to tease us and see if we will pay a lot more for them by finding them on an overseas site and buying them anyway.

There are some neat Legos on that site. Matthew and Chris collect them, but usually just the small ones, except Matthew got the Darth Vader Tie fighter a few months ago. That thing has a lot of parts. He always wanted the one from the first movie, but never got it.

Hope you get your box soon. If you don't like the stuff, give it away. I'm sure someone will like all the junk. Since it wasn't close to Christmas, I couldn't find any really neat toys. My sons always get a stocking full of junk for Christmas. Once I got them T-Rax eye watches, that blinked!

Loved them!

Take care.

Thanks muchly. As for the other box that I thought you sent a long time ago: Well, it had an address I didn't recognize, in Florida, so I just assumed. Weird, that.

I wore the mood ring heart pendent to school today and got many funny looks and a couple complements. Thanks again, but you have not commented on my blog for a while, I feel so forsaken, (theatrical sniffling)...:) School is fun, except that I will be writing a seminar paper on the ecological effects of the management of European imported livestock in colonial New England tonight, don't ask me how that came up.

Have you figured out the secret of the pendant yet? :-)

If you mean the cool shifty colors, yeah, if there is some 007 thing beyond that, then no...:)

Your problem, young lady, is that you just don't have enough people on your livejournal friends list (If _that_ ain't an ironic "Now the student has become the master" staement, I don't know what is). You need to friend more people, then they'll friend you back, and then you'll never have a shortage of comments!

Here's some suggestions:
[livejournal.com profile] divalea: She makes comic books. Give her money, and she'll draw pictures for you!
[livejournal.com profile] dreams_of_wings: A college student, so you have much in common with her!
[livejournal.com profile] filkertom: You've heard the filking at WisCon, now read the blog!
[livejournal.com profile] ginmar: Rants a lot, on a variety of issues (Kinda like Ann Coulter, only smarter and on the Side of Good). Can be somewhat... difficult at times, but well worth reading. And she rants!
[livejournal.com profile] girlmod: Creator of the fabulously cool comic, Blue Monday. Doesn't curse nearly as much as you'd expect!
[livejournal.com profile] kakiphony: A lawyer, yet still has her soul!
[livejournal.com profile] larksdream: She does arcane and complicated computer things. Brilliantly intelligent (though she _did_ have the poor taste to spurn my advances...), and generally cool!
[livejournal.com profile] soldiergrrrl: She's Public Affairs, so she gets to write propaganda... I mean, news stories!

Yes, but I don't know the etiquette of these things, I'm largely in the low-tech world, if not exactly among mundanes. I will do as you command, O wise master...

The etiquette, near as I can tell, is that you add them to your friend list and then comment in their blog "Hey, you're cool, so I'm adding you to my friend list". Reverse the order if you wish. We're all attention whores here anyway, so people don't generally object. :-)
