OH GOD I'M OLD!!!!

I turn 29 today. 29! That's one step away from _30_! When the Hell did this happen? Where did all my youth go? What am I going to do now that I can't rely on good looks and youthful vigor? I'm gonna have to _grow_up_. God, I'm too YOUNG to be having a mid-life crisis... Wait, no I'm not, that's the point :-P. When I get back to the States I'm gonna have to start dating strippers and/or nihilistic freshman philosophy majors who dress in black and write bad poetry. Or maybe devote my life to curing cancer. Whichever requires less effort, because I don't have as much spare energy these days.

Spelling counts. That graffiti that was supposed to read "We triumph over you" really read "We triumph over the chicken coop". Not exactly the most noteworthy accomplishment to brag of. Feel free to come by the FOB, I'd be glad to tutor you...

Update: Turns out it was really the name of an Iraqi singer. I guess this is why we have native speakers working for us. Still, I liked my version better. "Deputy Dan has no friends"...
