I took my car to a mechanic today. The only obvious damage they could find (other than the window) was a melted coolant reservoir cap. They couldn't figure out why it was running so hot in the first place (The thermostat worked fine, as did the fan), and anyways they didn't have a replacement part on hand, so they sent me to the local Honda dealer. I got there right before they closed, but they said they'll look at it first thing tomorrow. They _probably_ have a replacement cap, but if they don't they won't be able to get one until thursday, unless I'm willing to pay an exorbitant shipping charge. I can only conclude that the City of Savannah has decided that it doesn't want to let me leave. More and more outlandish bits of anti-serendipity will pile up, and soon, I'll be living in a Philip K. Dick novel.
