Hot chocolate. Egg nog is nasty, I don't _care_ how much alcohol they put in it.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
It's not a present if it isn't wrapped.

Colored.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
Nope.

5. When do you put your decorations up?
Personally, I don't. That's just way too much effort. Other family members seem to put them up a few weeks before Christmas.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Turkey, right out of the oven (screw letting it "cool down"), with the skin all crackly and golden and wonderfully fatty and... The skin is mine, ALL MINE!!!!

Dunno.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I don't know exactly, but it must have been before kindergarten, because I remember feeling superior to all those poor babies who hadn't learned the truth yet.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas eve?
We always opened _all_ of our presents right after getting home from midnight church services, during which time "Santa" had come and gone. Since nowadays I'm the one who stays home and babysits the kids who are too little to stay awake that late, I get to be "Santa", and perpetuate the myth for future generations. I'm such a hypocrite.

10. How do you decorate your christmas tree?
Again, I don't. Kinfolk decorate theirs with regular old decorations.

11. Snow! Love it or loathe it?
Loathe, but I acknowledge that having snow makes us better than the heathen southerners. It's a conundrum.

12. Can you ice skate?
More or less.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
The very first legos that one of my big sisters got for me.

Spoiling nieces and nephews.

Don't really have one.

A fake beating heart would be pretty damned cool...

Both.

19. What is your favorite Christmas song?
"Christmas at Ground Zero". As for traditional Christmas Caroles, I utterly DESPISE them. When I am Evil Overlord, they shall be banned, and my Hideous Minions shall hunt down all those who sing them. Since I will be a merciful Evil Overlord, there will be a two day amnesty for Christmas Eve and Christmas itself, so the downtrodden masses can get it out of their systems for another year. But after the 26th, anyone who gets caught even _humming_ them, will go straight into the Grinchification Chambers!!!!
