Woe and loss.

While inspecting a patch of wild raspberries I'd found last summer, I came upon a scene of horror: Some scurvy wretch had taken a weed-whacker to about half of them. Curse you, City of Madison, and whatever minimum-wage goon you sent to maintain the bike paths! Oh well, they didn't get all of them. Think I'll go down tomorrow and clip the dead stalks of the plants they didn't hack down, for ease of picking in a few month's time.
