An attack on Phelps the f^%^*head would be a political victory for the Religious Reich, only _IF_ said attack was carried out by gay people or their kith and kin. But if a crowd of war veterans and grieving widows strung up Phelps, there'd be no way that the wingnuts would be able to spin that in their favor.
