I never had any problems with allergies over in Iraq, probably because there are no living things farther than 2 miles from the rivers. Here, in verdant Georgia, there are vile plants _everywhere_, taunting me, insinuating themselves into my sinuses.... Tonight will likely be my third night in a row without sleep. Grr...

1) Put an electrostatic air cleaner in your bedroom. One of the ones from sharper image, or from radio shack. Make sure it's an air cleaner, not just a fan with a filter.
2) There is a product I just noticed called "Simply Saline". Basically, you fill your nose with it, then spend 2 minutes clearing all the newly-loosened snot out of your nose. Presumably, it washes out pollen, etc., also. Do this just before bedtime. Feels pretty wierd, though.

So, it's like regular nasal spray, only without the active ingredients?

Pretty much. It puts out a low-pressure spray(can is already pressurized) that consists of saline w/no additives. You can find it at CVS, or probably any drug store. There are 2 types, I recommend the white can - the other one is for drying out the snot, don't know how well it works.
You can get the cheaper CVS brand, but that comes in a squeeze bottle, I have not tried it.

Or just snort saline, its just the salt water that does the clearing out. Yeah, get an air filter thing, would probably help.
