Here because I don’t want to start a flame war in soldiergrrrl's blog if I can help it.

By the definitions you posted, one could claim that Stalin and Mao were “Communo-Fascists”. Or that Louis XIV ("L'État, c'est moi") was a “Solar-Monarchal-Fascist”. Both claims would be idiotic, but they would be consistent with your definition of the term. The jihadis' semi-coherent mishmash of a political philosophy owes much more to marxism than it does to anything Mussolini or Hitler had a hand in. The term “Islamo-fascist” is used by half-educated laymen who think they know more than they actually do, because it just sounds scary and/or cool. Kinda like references to “The Mad Cow Virus”, or “Irreducible Complexity”. Better terms include Islamic Fundamentalists, Islamic Militants, Islamists, Jihadis, or just plain Homicidal Whackjobs. All are accurate, and save for the last one, don’t involve fuzzy-minded scare labels. The actual reality is scary enough.

As for LGF: I don’t like going to any site where it’s considered acceptable behavior for commenters to openly advocate the genocide of Ragheads, Fags, or Godless Liberals. I’m funny that way.

And yes, I am moving back to Madison. I was a bloody minded reactionary when I lived there before. Four years living in Hinesville turned me into the flaming liberal I am today.
