The Earth Is Growing thing is ridiculous. It complains about the 'continents sliding about willy-nilly' like they're on 'greased pans', yet in order to expand like that, they also have to slide around (notably Australia/Antarctica - which are moving closer to Asia, not away), and you can see how the continents twist and distort to get them to "fit" together. It also laughably implies the continents are skidding around at super-speed. It doesn't say WHY the earth is growing, or WHERE the ocean water came from. And it ignores the fact we can measure measure plate tectonics these days. North America and Europe are moving away from each other by a couple of inches per year. We can also see subduction (Marianas Trench, also measurable in inches per year), plates grinding against each other (California), and plates tearing apart (Rift Valley)

And of course we don't get fossils from the bottom of the ocean - no one has looked (and it's awful dark down there).

You've just been brainwashed by the "Scientific" Orthodoxy. The Growing Earth theory is _every_bit_ as scientifically valid as, say, Intelligent Design, and we should therefore Teach The Controversy. ;-)

I like the idea of radical new ideas, supported by a good hypothesis and evidence - continental drift and plate tectonics were heterodoxy at some point too.

I believe Earth was created by Intergalactic Bees. If there's any evidence that the Earth wasn't created by Intergalactic Bees, it's because the Intergalactic Bees created that evidence, to test us. If anyone can't prove me wrong, teach the controversy!
