Over on the rpg.net forums, Maryanne Siembieda (Kevin's ex-wife) has said that while the company still has no plans for selling ebooks, she's made a habit over the past few years of scanning in every new book that comes out, so if Kevin changes his mind, they'd be able to sell PDFs right away. Which begs the question: If _now_ isn't a good time to do that, then when is? Wouldn't selling PDFs for 5 bucks (hell, 10 bucks, or even full cover price) apiece be a hell of a lot more professional than, essentially, begging for pity donations? Probably more effective too. Times like this make me despair for my fellow geeks; we're _never_ going to conquer the world at this rate.
