Have you read her post from today? Who is your power of attorny? Isn't Aga a lawyer? What is her take on the smuck who took thousands out of Ginmars accounts while she was in Iraq? How can Ginmar get the money back?
Yes, I read it. I can't think of any advice to give, that hasn't already been given. I set up all my bill payments online, so I didn't need to give anyone a power of attorney, but I've got Robert listed as my next of kin. Aga's not a lawyer, kakiphony is, I'll go ask her. The only way for her to get the money back is to prevail on the schmucks' better nature (HA!) or sue. Depending on the exact circumstances of the POA, she might not be able to get any compensation at all. "Your Honor, she didn't tell me NOT to spend all the money on hookers and beer! Well, not in writing anyway." "Case dismissed." :-(
