We're really vain ebough to think we can rebuild a country, when we can't even keep one teenage girl safe from her own family? In accordance with current policies, they'll be given to the Iraqi courts for 'prosecution'. It is to laugh. The only justice this girl will get will be if the soldiers who detain her murderers 'accidentally' drop them down the stairs and run them into a wall a few times. She will be forgotten by history, her bloodthirsty kin will never mention her again. She will write no books, raise no children, vote in no elections. Only we will even remember her, how we promised to help her, and how we failed her.
