Today's tragedy.

A father is walking along the road with three children. An American convoy drives past. A bomb is detonated, wounding one son. A panicking soldier "shoots back", wounding another. I wonder, who does he blame for their pain?

Update: Both kids survived, and eventually recovered fully.

my guess is the 'hated americans' are the primary culprits in the mind of the family. however, the insurgents are the true culprits in my humble opinion.

Glad your opinion is humble.

Yes, the insurgents detonated the blast which sparked the shooting, but we invaded their country based on what turned out to be complete falsehoods and started the cycle of killing.

Would the cycle of killing have been any less with incomplete falsehoods? Or with truths?
