Livejournal thinks nursing mothers are obscene. OK, to be perfectly fair, _they_ don't think that, they're just worried that they'll get in trouble with the idiots who do. Still, what kind of whackjob thinks breastfeeding is "obscene", "indecent", or even "icky"?

I am entertaining mad thoughts of hopping a plane and going to Balticon (standby?). Unfortunately, I'm not only poor, I don't have a dogsitter anymore. Thus are the best-laid plans of mice and men etc. etc. Not that I've particularly noticed mice making plans...
